The Borderlands PDP and Training facilitated a one day workshop for Joint youth and student’s platform and Nepali Media. Jointly organized by Demo Finland and Nepal Press Institute the program aimed at developing mutual understanding and trust among youth leaders and media persons.
Held at Hattiban Resort in Pharping on Saturday the 13th of March the youth of different political parties engaged themselves in various team building activities to learn how they can work together to develop a better Nepal in the years to come. Understanding mutual benefits of close cooperation between press and political leaders and starting a lasting relationship between press and politicians were the main objectives of the program.
Borderlands team building initiatives provided a much needed opportunity for both the press and the youth leaders to come together for an efficient and harmonious relationship and support mechanism. Trust, communication, strategic planning and solving problems effectively and efficiently were some of the highlighted areas of the day’ session.
