This is a moderate to strenuous trek from 2,805m (9,200ft) to (5,364m/17,600ft) with the optional day hikes up to 5545m (18,200ft). Accommodation will be in comfortable lodges run by Sherpa families.

Though the modern day celebration of Halloween still bears traces of its Celtic origins, it has come down to a cross-cultural stew of folk traditions. The main highlight of this event, which is celebrated every year on October 31, is that people disguise themselves by wearing different costumes. The Borderlands welcomes you to be a part of its Halloween celebrations.

Borderlands PDP organized a Team Building Event for team Freiberg/ Namaste Nepal from October 5-10, 2009. The event was organized so that 23 students from Freiberg and 14 villagers from the nearby villages (Dadakateri, Gati and Sakhuwa) could jointly participate in the team building activities. The event included ice breaking and trust fall exercises and other team building games and initiatives that emphasized on improving communication, leadership, trust, co-ordination, team building among other skills. The participants also actively took part in a talk program on Agro farming that focused on the possibilities and challenges in the mid-hills.

Team Building Event

The trek to Gati village was the major highlight of the event in addition to music and fun activities was one of the highlight of the event. After the team building program ended on October 10, 2009, the Freiberg students then went on for the Bhairab Kunda Trek and the participants from the nearby villages returned to their villages. Overall the program was a huge success as the participants felt that the program improved their sense of bonding and the Freiberg students also got the chance to see the rural lifestyle and got the opportunity to do some social work like: painting the local schools etc.
